Barry Flanagan's Biography


1941    Born in Prestatyn, North Wales

1957-58    Studies at Birmingham College of Arts and Crafts, England

1964-66    Studies at St. Martin's School of Art, London

1972     Awarded grant from the Gulbenkain Foundation, London to choreograph dance pieces

1987    Elected Associate of the Royal Academy of Arts, London
     Currently lives and works in Dublin, Ireland
